Blog 7- The Beast

The boys all huddled around a littlun. Kill the pig, cut his throat, Bash him in! I walked up to the crowd pushing to see who was inside. It was Robert. He was crying and sniveling. "Stop it!" he shouted. I pushed through the circle; but the layers of people seemed infinite. I had to get in this fight. I saw Jack holding up his knife as if he was about to pierce it through Roberts heart. Deep down inside I didn't want him to do it. But i chanted along anyways. Kill him, Kill him! I pushed people aside to get through to the inside layer. Jack had to see me chanting along with him. He had to be proud that I was like him. I spotted Ralph chanting with the rest of the group. He had an angry look on his face. A chill ran through my spine. Ralph was supposed to be the one making sure no one acted like this. I secretly was glad when Ralph became leader. But I have to act like Jack; or else he'll turn against me. And honestly, I'm scarred of Jack. I wish so much that we could be like how Ralph said. But now that he too is becoming savage. I took a breathe and tried to forget about Ralph. I continued shouting, Kill him! Kill him! I could tell my voice sounded uncompromising, it sounded as if I really didn't want to be part of this.
Later on me and Ralph where sitting, waiting for Jack to come back down the mountain. Suddenly he appeared, panting, with sweat dripping down the sides of his face. "I saw it." He said. The look on his face changed to from terrified to serious when he saw me looking at him in disbelief. "Come on, I really saw it, let's go," He said trying to sound sage. I followed him up the mountain with Ralph behind me. My stomach turned upside down as we made our way up the mountain. What if it is real? What if it kills them and I'm left to fight it? Or, what if i kills me? Thoughts ran through my head. Ralph and Jack were talking about what the beast could be. Ralph was trying to convince him that he  imagined it. "I saw a thing bulge on the mountain" Jack said. Ralph started talking again. I blocked out his voice and thought about what sort of a beast might bulge.
"A frog." I said.
We climbed up the mountain under the impression that the beast was just a frog. I blundered and almost fell into a covert. I stumbled but kept walking up the mountain. When we started getting close to the top we decided to get down on our hands and knees. We clambered forward but then stopped when we saw a giant black hump. It was taking place of a gap that was in the rocks before. A big gust of wind came as the ape-like thing lifted its arms. So there really is a beast. I thought as my stomach dropped

Sianni-

I really like your blog. I liked how wrote about Roger actually wanting Ralph to be leader, and wanting order.

One thing i would suggest is when you write them chanting, you should put them in quotations. Example-Kill the pig, cut his throat, Bash him in!
